From its early beginning in 1975, and incorporation in 1976 by the present owners, Sharmic has steadily grown from a small Midlands based company to a National and then to an International company. Due to increased growth the company moved to larger premises in Stourport-on-Severn in 1986 to facilitate under one roof its warehouse, manufacturing and Engineering facility. The company has licensee`s
for its products globally which allow its products to be manufactured and supplied around the world. During its lifetime, the company has acquired the assets of many of its competitors, and in doing so have been able to expand their range of equipment and finishing materials and build relationships with their many new customers and suppliers. The company's pride is its passion in providing customers from large multi-national organisations to the home hobbyist, with the most technically innovative machines and the best quality finishing products at the lowest price possible. Thus by collaborating with our local, national and many International partners, we are able to achieve this, and from our extensive stocks of products, we are able to support the many production requirements of our customers. The company supports its customers with a free technical service and a free analysis of customer’s samples, to ensure the best process methods and finishing machines are established from the onset. Our goal is to move to more environmentally friendly products, through research and development, and to share the knowledge with others so that there is a safer workplace, to operate surface finishing techniques. The Company operates a EN9001-2008 quality system that insures its products conform to the required specifications, especially in the aerospace and medical industries. From its in house facilities, all products are tested thoroughly before being placed on the market for sale.
