It’s less than 6 weeks until Christmas people! My one year old is getting in the spirit too. ‘Fairytale of New York’ is his new favourite song when I’m getting him to sleep. The kid’s got taste!

I’ve just had a new delivery of Christmas cards, thanks to so DM me (Etsy shop still closed) for packs of 6, or single ‘love’ cards

Trip out with my eldest to Warwick this morning to drop off stock to

Loads of amazing small businesses are in the market square until 3pm today (and every Saturday until Christmas I believe). Food stalls, handmade soaps, jewellery… plus got a nice treat for doing so well at school from 3 beautiful books for £10 😲

My Christmas cards have arrived! So nice to get something new printed. Not had that unboxing excitement in a while! In other news… I have decided to close my Etsy shop. Sales have dropped off a cliff the last couple of months (as I’m hearing from so many other sellers too 😢) and keeping the shop open is actually starting to cost me money. So… my new Christmas cards, along with all my other usual stuff, will only be available at local markets and shops for the foreseeable. I’m still here and available for commissions though (I’ll share my latest in a couple of days), so just DM me!

I’ve dropped off a load of stock at a brand new pop up coming to Stratford upon Avon! will be open for 6 weeks from Thursday selling lots of products from UK based designers and makers. Candles, art prints, handmade decorations, jewellery and more ☺️

I am very excited to tell you all that you can now buy my cards in Derby! I’m really proud to be stocked here because it’s an amazing shop that only stocks products from small independent makers. Be warned though... I think it’s impossible to visit this shop and leave empty handed! You will see something unusual that is just perfect for someone you know. Shopping small and local is more important than ever, so if you are local to Derby definitely check it out!

My new Father’s Day cards are here! All packaged up and ready for dropping off at a stockist in Warwick next week, or get yours through my Etsy shop. Baby is having an unexpected nap, so I’m now off to get as much as possible done in 20 minutes.... go! 🤣

I’ve made something! 🙌🥳🤗 Finally managed to get some new designs done. These are on their way to local stockists soon, and should (*baby sleep depending) be available on my Etsy from tomorrow!

Having a little flurry of my best selling card going out at the moment! Thank you for your sales ☺️ however... Royal Mail are increasing the price of a first class stamp by 10p. It might not seem much but it’s really eating into my profit on sending out orders of single greetings cards - which is my biggest seller. So your thoughts here would be most appreciated. What is the most you would be happy to pay for a single card (postcard size with envelope) delivered straight to your door?? Royal Mail say one of the reasons for the increase is the decline in post... I’m definitely still a card person, but maybe I’m a dying breed. I think a physical card arriving at your door, with a personal message in actual handwriting is special. I know that during lockdowns when we couldn’t physically see friends and family I sent out more physical post because i thought it was the next best thing. Do you like sending or receiving cards or am I flogging a dead horse here?!

Let’s see if I remember how to post, it’s been so long!

Ha! Can’t believe I actually thought I might be able to do some work during nap times! If I do manage to get him to sleep after his 2 hours of crying there’s always a hundred other things that need doing before I can afford myself the luxury of sitting down to draw. Bottles need washing, school uniform to get ready, when will I shower again?! Good job he’s cute 🥰 So I’m just telling you that I am actually still here, and my shop is still open for orders!

Is anybody else finding the post really slow at the moment? I’ve sent orders with a first class stamp on that have taken 10 days to arrive. I’m issuing lots of refunds 😥

Finding myself in full nesting mode this week, as only 4 weeks to go until my due date! Work is taking a bit of a back seat whilst I figure out how to dismantle and wash car seats, cribs, prams, sleeping pods... and they’re so complicated!

So just to let you know that I’ve got a very limited supply of Christmas cards back in stock available in my Etsy shop, so if you want some get them now! Or if they sell out and you want some let me know via DM.
