Job Opportunity at The Glass Foundry. We are looking for 3 Trainee Glass Artists. Starting January 2022 (depending on Covid situation). DEADLINE for applications is 22nd December 2021.

3 successful applicants will receive a 2 month full-time training placement at the Foundry starting in January 2022 (depending on the Covid situation). Thereafter rate and hours to be negotiated on a freelance basis.

We're excited to announce the six artists selected for our 2021 Glass Lab Residencies.

Halima Cassell MBE, Virna Pasquinelli, Camilla Hanney, Jonny Briggs, Estabrak and Chuting Lee will each explore new applications of glass in sculpture, fashion and design, fine art, performance art and photography.

Kelly O’Brien completed a Master of Fine Art (Distinction) at Bath Spa University in 2019.

Her sculptures and installations manipulate everyday objects to radically shift their meaning, often highlighting human issues and fears for the future.

This residency, run at The Glass Foundry Uk, offers full use of studio space, material & equipment for a month in the Glass Lab

Kelly’s studio time experimenting with new ideas to explore through , and . As kellys glass knowledge grew so did her confidence in new ways designing, creating a new body of work which she will be showing at Freshair Sculpture show in 2021 Quenington, Gloucestershire
