I’m so excited to officially start welcoming families into my woodland in Lavenham for lots of muddy, child-led Forest School fun! 🌳

Our first preschool sessions are:

🍂 Thursday 10th September | 10am–12pm
🍂 Monday 14th September | 10am–12pm
🌱 For children walking to 5 years
💚 £10 per child with sibling discount available

Come and explore the mud kitchen, swing, slacklines, get creative with nature crafts and, most importantly, enjoy plenty of time to play, explore and have fun in the woods. A drink is included, and once the current fire ban is lifted, we’ll be cooking over the fire too! 🔥

And that’s not all… 🎂🌿 Forest School birthday parties are booking now!

If your child would love a birthday filled with woodland adventures, mud, swings, den building, nature activities and time around the fire, I have a selection of Saturday party dates available between now and the end of 2026.

Parties are £200 for up to 20 children, including two hours of Forest School fun, hot chocolates with cream and marshmallows, juice, sweets and hot dogs (or an alternative). You bring the cake, party bags and children — I take care of the rest! 🙌

🏕️ 5 nights at Scout camp… and so many memories made!

Last week we took our Scouts away for five nights at Suffolk Punch and, despite coming home exhausted with a mountain of washing 😂, it reminded me just how much I love being a Scout leader.

We get to give our young people incredible opportunities to challenge themselves, grow in confidence, become more independent, build friendships and make memories that will stay with them for years.

But being a leader gives me so much too. I’m incredibly lucky to be part of an amazing leadership team and, even during the long days and late nights, there is SO much laughter and teamwork.

And one of the biggest bonuses is what Scouting gives my own children. 💚

At just 7, Jacob has already earned his 15 Nights Away badge! As a Beaver, he wouldn’t usually get to experience many of these longer camps yet, but as a leader’s child he gets to come along for the adventure.

This week he climbed and abseiled alongside the Scouts, joined in with everything and truly felt like one of them. Watching the older children encourage and include him was pretty special.

Scouting asks a lot from its volunteers, but it gives an incredible amount back too.

Five nights. Lots of tired people. A LOT of washing. And memories that will last far longer. 🏕️⚜️💚

🌳 Forest School Birthday Parties in Lavenham! 🎂🔥

Looking for a birthday party that’s a little bit different… and one where you don’t have to spend hours setting up or clearing up afterwards?! 🙌

My Forest School birthday parties are all about giving children the freedom to explore, play, get creative and have an adventure in the woods with their friends.

🌿 £200 for a 2-hour party for up to 20 children

Your party includes:
🔥 A range of Forest School activities
🌳 Plenty of time to explore and play in the woodland
☕ Hot chocolates with cream & marshmallows
🧃 Juice
🌭 Hot dogs (or an alternative)
🍬 Sweets

You simply bring the children, a few adults to help supervise, party bags and, of course, the birthday cake! 🎂

I’ll take care of the activities, food, drinks, setting up and clearing away afterwards.

The aim? You head home without a party venue to clean, while the children head home hopefully a little bit muddy, tired and very happy! 🥰🌿

📍 Parties take place at my woodland Forest School site in Lavenham.

A £50 deposit secures your chosen date, with the remaining balance due 7 days before the party.

We had the most beautiful afternoon at Rougham Sunflowers yesterday.

We took full advantage of the weather being slightly cooler to go and explore!

I hope you’re all having an enjoyable summer holiday. The balance of working with the children at home and taking them out and about to enjoy the summer actually seems to be working well this year!

Summer holidays might be in full swing, but business certainly hasn’t slowed down over here! ☀️💻

Today’s to-do list includes:
✨ Raising invoices and updating records in QuickBooks
✨ Amending previously entered data
✨ Updating expense trackers
✨ Submitting inspection reports for a pest control business
✨ Monitoring multiple inboxes
✨ Coordinating counselling referrals to ensure clients receive timely support and are matched with the right therapist

No two days are ever the same, and that’s exactly what I love. Supporting businesses behind the scenes means they can focus on what they do best, knowing the admin is in safe hands.

Sometimes the best weekends are the ones where you switch off, slow down and simply enjoy being together. ❤️

This long weekend in Cornwall was exactly that.

We escaped to Ella & Jack’s beautiful home in St Day, with Mum and Dad already there waiting for us, before Kitty & Sam and our cousin Guy joined us for even more family fun.

There was sea swimming, beach days, a beautiful countryside walk, lots of laughter on the giant slip ‘n’ slide (I don’t think I’ve laughed that much in ages!), evenings in the hot tub and sauna, and the most incredible homemade pizzas from Ella’s new pizza oven.

No rushing. No packed schedule. Just good food, fresh air, lots of laughter and quality time with the people I love most.

Life gets busy so easily, and weekends like this are such a good reminder that the moments we’ll remember aren’t the expensive ones or the perfectly planned ones… they’re the ones spent together, making memories.

Feeling very grateful, very refreshed, and ready for what’s next. 🤍

Cornwall, we’ll be back.

There it is… my little corner of the woods. 🌿✨

I still can’t quite believe I get to call this beautiful woodland home for my Forest School sessions.

Nestled in Lavenham, this space is everything I hoped for. At its heart is our log circle and fire pit - the place where we’ll gather together, share stories, cook over the fire, learn new skills and make wonderful memories.

There’s already a swing waiting to be enjoyed, plenty of space for den building, exploring and adventure, and over the coming weeks I’ll be adding a mud kitchen, pallet and cable reel tables, and all those little touches that will make this woodland feel truly magical.

I can’t wait to welcome you and your children here to explore, play, learn and connect with nature.

This is just the beginning… and I can’t wait to share the journey with you. 🍃💚

Our Forest School birthday parties are all about adventure, imagination and making magical memories in our beautiful woodland in Lavenham. Children can explore, build dens, swing through the trees, get creative in the mud kitchen, enjoy cooking over the campfire and finish with a delicious hot chocolate.

The best part? We keep it simple…
