TRADING THURSDAY ONLY THIS WEEK.

Despite the rain forecasted tomorrow, we will be on Sudbury Market trading! Please come and support us tomorrow, as we will not be there Saturday!

George and the team will be in Stratford upon Avon at the final of the best national young market trader of the year 2026.

Pop on down and support us tomorrow in the rain, we’ll even do a little rain dance as we dance our way off to the finals this weekend and hopefully bring an award home for the town of Sudbury! 🤩

We have TWO Saturday opportunities available to join the Cox’s Boxes team at Bury St Edmunds Market.

🛒 SATURDAY SERVING ASSISTANT

A great opportunity for a school leaver or someone looking to gain experience and start their working career.

The role includes:
• Helping with the morning setup
• Serving customers throughout the day
• Operating the tills and handling money
• Keeping the stall stocked, tidy and looking its best

What we’re looking for:
✔️ Available every Saturday
✔️ Punctual, polite and reliable
✔️ Friendly and confident when dealing with customers
✔️ Basic mental arithmetic and confidence handling money
✔️ A basic knowledge of fruit & veg would be helpful
✔️ A positive attitude

Full till training and uniform provided.
💷 Pay to be discussed at interview/start date.

💪 SATURDAY STALL SETUP & PACK-DOWN ASSISTANT

We’re also looking for someone to help with the physical setup and pack-down of our Bury St Edmunds market stall.

This is a split-shift role, helping us get everything ready before trading and returning later to help pack everything away.

What we’re looking for:
✔️ Available the majority of Saturdays
✔️ Punctual, polite and reliable
✔️ Comfortable with a physical, hands-on role
✔️ Able to work well as part of a team
✔️ Potential for additional shifts/work for the right person

💷 Pay to be discussed at interview/start date.

🚚 Fleet appreciation post… because they were actually clean all at the same time for once! 😅

We don’t often stop to look back, but seeing the whole fleet lined up made us realise just how far we’ve come.

Every van represents early mornings, late nights, hard graft, and a business that’s constantly pushing to improve. This week is no different – Charlie and the team are on yet another 7-day week, installing another refrigerated unit so we can keep up with demand and keep your fruit and veg as fresh as it can possibly be.

We’re always reinvesting, always improving, and never standing still. It’s not always glamorous, but we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built and even more excited about where we’re heading.
