, a flooring specialist based in Sunderland, England, has recently unveiled a sophisticated flooring solution designed to complement modern interiors. This installation features LX Hausys’ large parquet tiles arranged in a herringbone pattern, enhanced by a 5mm black lacing strip that adds a refined border detail.
To ensure a flawless foundation, the floor was meticulously prepared using ARDEX K40-HB, a high-flow self-leveling underlayment. Applied over a 9mm plywood base, this 3mm layer provides a smooth and stable surface, ready for the parquet tiles. The rapid-drying properties of ARDEX K40-HB allow for flooring installation in as little as two hours, streamlining the process.
This elegant herringbone floor is the perfect complement to a matte dark grey kitchen, offering a harmonious blend of contemporary style and timeless appeal. The interplay between the rich tones of the parquet and the sleek, understated kitchen design creates a cohesive and inviting space.

For this project, will handle both the floor and step installations. The team will start by preparing the existing surfaces, ensuring they are level and smooth. After that, they will install luxury vinyl tiles (LVT) in a herringbone pattern, which will be applied to both the floors and the steps. The expert installation will ensure a seamless, durable, and elegant finish, adding both style and functionality to the space.

Something a little different today LG hausys parquet flooring laid in a Diagonal basket pattern. It was a pleasure to do this one for a repeat customer in their lovely home.

Must have;

Cscs qualification
Own tools
Own van (not essential)

The right candidate must be punctual, polite, hard working and be able to liaise with site managers and be pro active.

Must be able to fit at a hight standard the following;

Vinyl
Cap and cove
Carpet
Carpet tiles
Lvt
All floor preparation including 6mm plywood and latex screed.
