What a nightmare! Just had to cancel or postpone 3 DofE qualifying expeditions and a training weekend because Birmingham is now an "area of enhanced support" as a result of rising Covid rates. Birmingham schools have been advised not to make school trips outside of the Birmingham boundary.

Free Maps! City of Birmingham Orienteering Club are offering some of their stock of slightly out of date orienteering maps of Birmingham parks for free. The maps are ideal for learning navigation and orienteering for individuals, schools and other organisations such as scouts and guides. see www.coboc.org.uk for details

A new challenge for you, navigation and fitness!

Early Warning! The Sutton Park Gates Run is coming this year as a "virtual run" using the MapRunF app. More details when it's finalised but it will enable you to run the event around the 7 main gates at a time and date of your choosing up to 30th June with your results being logged and uploaded to the MapRunF site.
