👏 A big BNI Dylan welcome to our newest member, Thomas Rees from Nolan Estate eXp, who has taken the Estate Agent seat in our chapter. We’re absolutely thrilled to have Tom on board. He’s already plugged himself into the group brilliantly, getting involved in the meetings and giving referrals.

Tom’s a great guy and a fantastic addition to the room, and we’re excited to learn more about him and his business. As with all our members, the goal now is to build strong relationships so we can confidently recommend Tom and help grow his business through quality word‑of‑mouth referrals.

"Cultural Tour" on Gower

Last Friday was our annual BNI Dylan “Cultural Tour on Gower”, which definitely isn’t a pub crawl, honest… we just happen to visit every church on Gower along the way 😁🤩🍻🍹. It was a perfect summer days: blue skies, warm sun and the best company you could hope for, ideal for getting out, relaxing and just hanging out together.

Huge shout‑out to Matt Clare for organising this year’s tour, by popular opinion, it was probably our best one yet. We went around Gower, stopping here and there for drinks and food, sharing stories and laughing a lot, and it reminded us why we love this group so much.

The friendships in Dylan are genuinely strong and authentic, and it was brilliant to see so many of our newer members on their first “cultural tour”, they absolutely loved it and really appreciated everyone making the time to be there. Here are a few shots from the day captured by our resident photographer Diyan (📸iNNOVATIONphotography), who caught some of the atmosphere and fun we had (we’ve kept the really wild photos from later on for ourselves!).

Last week at BNI Dylan we were treated to a fantastic first feature presentation from Max Howell of The Bay Print Co and he absolutely smashed it. Max’s positivity and energy were infectious, and the whole room was buzzing as we learned more about his journey and the creative print solutions he offers local businesses.

Max started The Bay Print Co less than a year ago in a shipping container, and in that short time the business has grown so fast he is about to move into his third premises. From his early days printing T‑shirts and developing his own clothing label, he has expanded into designing and producing eye‑catching signage for local businesses, commercial van wraps and branded workwear, with exciting plans to add even more services.

We also got to see real examples of Max’s work in the room, with several Dylan members already trusting The Bay Print Co with their van graphics and branding and the quality is genuinely second to none. The attention to detail, bold design and professional finish make a huge difference to how their businesses show up on the road and in the community.

We had a full and friendly room at BNI Dylan, with plenty of visitors and great energy around the table. It is always good to see local businesses connecting, collaborating and building relationships that turn into real referrals and long‑term partnerships.

One of the things that makes BNI Dylan so powerful is our weekly 10‑minute member presentation.
Each week, one member gets the opportunity to go deeper into who they are, what they do, and crucially how we can help them with the right referrals. These spotlights help the whole chapter really understand a member’s services, ideal clients, and the value they bring, so we can recommend them with confidence.

Last week it was the turn of Mathew Price from OLP accountants , who holds the accountant seat in our chapter. This was Matt’s first 10‑minute presentation as a relatively new member and he absolutely delivered. He gave a clear, practical overview of how OLP supports businesses and the types of clients he’s especially keen to work with.

Another brilliant Friday morning with BNI Dylan at the Village Hotel Swansea, full of energy, connections and genuine support between local businesses.

We were thrilled to welcome visitors who shared how welcomed they felt and how refreshing it is to see a room full of businesses actively looking for ways to help each other grow.

A huge welcome to our newest member, Neena Patel from Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking. We’re delighted to have you on board and we are looking forward to getting to know you better and pass you quality referrals.

We also celebrated the renewal of Nick Romanello, one of Dylan’s very first members, who has been with the chapter for over 23 years, a cornerstone of our group.
