Last Friday was our Stack Day and what a meeting it was! The room was buzzing with energy as we welcomed lots of visitors from many different professions and industries. The atmosphere was uplifting, encouraging, and full of positive vibes.

Our visitors had the chance to share what they do, what they're looking for, and the feedback was fantastic: time and time again, people tell us how friendly, positive, and enjoyable our meetings are, especially for first-timers who might find it daunting. Huge thanks to Rob Warlow, one of the South and West Wales Directors, for visiting us and delivering a brilliant education slot on GAINS. Another fantastic meeting for BNI Dylan. A huge well done to Neena Patel who received her certificate for completing the BNI Passport Programme this week. The Passport Programme is all about getting out and visiting other BNI chapters, broadening your network and strengthening connections across the wider BNI community. Well done Neena!

Our featured 10-minute presentation came from Steve Bain, Managing Director of Pisys.NET and as always with Steve, it was packed full of genuinely valuable insight. Steve has a brilliant way of making cyber security and IT feel accessible and relevant to every business in the room, and this presentation was no different.

What a meeting it was at BNI Dylan last week- the energy, enthusiasm and genuine warmth in the room was something else. Moments like these remind us exactly why being part of this chapter is so special. Networking done right isn't just about business, it's about building real relationships with people you trust, and that's exactly what Dylan is all about.

We were delighted to be joined by Rob Warlow, one of our Directors for South and West Wales, who brought a fantastic educational slot and, most excitingly, a very special moment for the whole chapter.

Rob presented our very own Steve Coleman with his 100 Point Member badge.

For those who may not be familiar, a 100 Point Member is a BNI recognition awarded to members who consistently demonstrate the full range of BNI values and behaviours, from attendance and giving referrals to bringing visitors, completing testimonials and contributing to the chapter's growth. It is one of the highest individual achievements within BNI and reflects not just activity, but genuine commitment to the Givers Gain philosophy.

Steve, this is a phenomenal achievement and we are incredibly proud of you, well deserved in every way.

We also celebrated a renewal this week, with our Electrician Aled Weston proudly renewing his membership after 4 years with Dylan. In Aled's own words, "BNI works", and that says it all.

Our featured 10-minute presentation came from Abrahams of "ABZ Carpentry" and it was a real treat. Stuart is a skilled carpenter with 20 years of experience, specialising in kitchen fitting, general carpentry, loft conversions, hand cut roofs, bespoke garden offices, custom wooden stairs and first and second fix carpentry. He walked us through stunning real examples of his work and the quality, precision and care that goes into every project is clear to see.

Stuart is known for his motto "I'm Good with Wood" and his clients describe him as reliable, neat and dependable, which is exactly the kind of tradesperson every homeowner and developer wants on their side.

Another brilliant meeting at BNI Dylan, and the energy in the room at the Village Hotel was exactly why so many of us look forward to these meetings every week. With a few visitors joining us alongside our members, the atmosphere was warm, enthusiastic and buzzing with genuine conversation and the kind of purposeful networking that makes being part of Dylan so rewarding. This is a room full of people who genuinely want to help each other grow and it shows every single week.

Our featured 10-minute presentation this week came from James Lewis-Hyndman, Solicitor at Peter Lynn & Partners and he gave us a really insightful look into what he does and how he helps businesses navigate some of the most important moments in their journey.
