🐴 Case Study: Comfort-Focused Remedial Farriery 🐴
This horse presented with a challenging combination of bilateral sidebone, thin soles, and chronic laminitic changes, requiring a shoeing package designed to maximise comfort, reduce stress on the limb, and support the internal structures of the foot.
📸 Radiographs showed significant sidebone formation alongside laminitic changes, while the thin soles meant that protection from concussion was a key priority.

* Designed to reduce leverage on the hoof capsule.
* The rolled toe promotes an earlier and easier breakover, helping to decrease strain on the laminae & coffin joint

* Provide continuous frog support and encourage load sharing across the entire caudal foot.
* Improve stability and reduce focal pressure on compromised structures.
* Particularly beneficial for horses with laminitic and arthritic conditions.
✅ Anti-Concussive Packing
* Used beneath the pad to fill voids and create uniform support.
* Offers additional cushioning and shock absorption for the thin soles.
