Today is 17 years ago Wims11 & Little Nipper Soccer was launched and after our worst few years in our history we think this year is one of our best ever. On our 17th birthday we want to thank everyone who has been a huge part of this journey from our amazing coaches, volunteers, parents and of course the thousands of players who have taken part. Job opportunities in football coaching.

Wims11 FC (formed in 2009), are seeking enthusiastic coaches to join our team.

We need lead coaches to oversee various after school clubs, weekend football parties and ad-hoc technical sessions.

The successful candidate must be good with children of all ages (esp 3-12), have good communication skills, have high energy and enthusiasm and a love of football.

Ideally we are looking for someone that holds an FA coaching badge, has an enhanced DBS, FA safeguarding and FA Emergnecy first aid.

If not we will provide all of the above.

Full Nike uniform provided and competitive rates of pay.

Our new look U18’s begin their 26/27 Wiltshire Senior League tomorrow evening with an away trip to Radstock Town FC U18’s.

After the league cup success and a top 4 finish we aim to push on and continue the success of the last 3 seasons.

What a night. What a way to finish a season. I’m so incredibly proud of the journey this group and club have been on to reach a final and win it doing it our way.

Long term success will always be the goal and this win proved just that. In the world of grassroots and amateur football we are surrounded by ‘short term’ mindsets, or a win at all costs mentality which makes it very difficult to sell a long term plan and a vision for success.

The journey has been a bumpy one with plenty of setbacks that could’ve derailed the season at any point. We stuck to our belief’s and playing style regardless and with one objective to win. To beat teams that have senior men’s semi professional teams supporting them makes it even sweeter.

The new season is weeks away and we would love to see new players who want to develop at a good level above grassroots. If you are in year 11 or college years please comment below for details on our next trial.

A special shoutout to for travelling and taking some amazing photos.
