Job Description:
Installation and maintenance of full central heating systems, unvented and vented water cylinders/heathers in both residential and commercial sites
Repairing sanitation systems
Fitting domestic appliances (such as dishwashers)
Fitting bathrooms
Emergency repairs
Interprets blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipefitters in installing and repairing plumbing.
Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems.
Analyse problem and identify appropriate tools and materials for repair.
Follow health and safety standards and comply with building codes.
Write report documenting the problem and summary of actions taken.
Perform inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts.
Handle customer queries and respond to call outs.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems.
Requirements:
Trade school diploma or completed apprenticeship.
4+ years of experience as a plumber.
Gas Safe registered (not a required however will benefit from higher salary)
Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
Good listening and communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills and patience.
Full Driving Licence and be willing to travel to work location.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
