A little catch up post from the weekend…

I just wanted to say a big thank you to Steve at STAVA Accountancy Limited for inviting me along to a day’s hospitality at Swindon Town Football Club on Saturday to watch them play Colchester United FC. It was a 0-0 result but enjoyable all the same.

The chat with the gaffer before the match was brilliant, sadly none of us got picked for the game though!

A great lunch (with a delicious cheese board!!), a couple of cheeky pints of cider, great company and entertainment. It was thoroughly enjoyable. Great to also see several familiar faces too and a reminder that events like this are great for both business and personal reasons.

I’m looking forward to returning the invite soon.

p.s also a big shout out to Phil King for leaving the selfies on my phone when he kindly offered to take a photo of us all in the dug out! 😂
