Our son, Jon has decided to step back from our family business of supplying the hospitality industry so he can concentrate on his career in the industry but behind the bar. We’re delighted for him as he seems to have found his niche and is enjoying this career.

He will still cover our holidays for us from time to time.

We have a new colleague joining us to help with deliveries, her name is Chloe and I’m sure she’ll settle in quickly. We know Chloe from our shared interest in car clubs plus she is the Chair of the Wilts & Berks Canal, Swindon branch.

Well summer seems to not be arriving this year so we might as well move on to Christmas.

I am delighted that shipping container costs have settled last year so our Christmas cracker prices have been reduced by at least 15%.

We have also worked hard to remove all single use plastics and plastic packaging. The crackers and their cartons are mostly recyclable card.

We are delighted to add a range of fully recyclable Infinity food boxes to our stock list. These are available as alternatives to the polystyrene containers due to be discontinued by the end of the year.

You may have seen in the news that plastic cutlery is to be phased out sometime in the coming year.

We can supply sustainably sourced wooden cutlery as a great alternative.

Many other plastic and polystyrene items are under review too and we have sustainable alternatives to all these.
