🤝Last week, our Infrastructure team had the pleasure of visiting Swindon and Wiltshire Institute of Technology (SAWIOT) for their Industry Experience Day!

The team thoroughly enjoyed connecting with the students and giving them a behind-the-scenes look at our work in leakage and pipe condition assessment. The team showcased some of our specialised equipment, including the Versatrax 320™ pipe crawler from Eddyfi Technologies - one of the only pipe crawlers of its kind in the UK and Europe!

🌟This week, WRc’s Waste Doctors were thrilled to attend the RWM Expo, a dynamic two-day event focused on innovation and sustainability in waste management.

♻️With over 12,000 professionals and 600+ providers, the expo showcased the latest in waste reduction, recycling, and circular economy strategies.

🍾Our team was busy engaging with visitors about waste classification and recovery, and our Prosecco in reusable flutes were a hit!

✍️A standout moment was our Pledge Book initiative, where every signature contributed £1 to the Reuse Network, supporting the diversion of household items from landfills to low-income homes. Stay tuned to hear the total raised soon.

🎙️The event also featured Chris Packham’s live podcast with Niki Roach on Planet Possible, where he emphasised reducing carbon footprints by limiting family size and "Change where your money is - economic pressure is powerful."

👩Additionally, the Women in Sustainability panel, with leaders from WRAP, Biffa, and Resource Futures, was truly inspiring.

🌟We’re proud to be part of this vital event and look forward to advancing circular economy strategies. Read more here: https://bit.ly/4efFh4E
