The truth is, you can’t. By definition, an insulator is a non‑conductor, which means it cannot be grounded.
In an EPA, most insulators should be removed wherever possible. But when an insulator is essential to the process and must remain inside the EPA, ionisation becomes critical, it’s the only way to control charge on materials that can’t be grounded.
So what do you do when these insulators start building charge in your workspace? You neutralise them. That’s where an ioniser comes in. ✅
