I've always had an interest in placenames when making house signs and in this case (as I don't speak Gaelic) I have just 'googled' Achbeag. It says the following:

"Achbeag: Frequently used as a place name or the name of traditional croft houses in the Scottish Highlands (such as in Fearnmore on the Applecross Peninsula), where it typically denotes a small field, plot, or smallholding (achadh meaning field, paired with beag meaning small)."

If any Gaelic speaker out there can confirm or advise differently, then I would be interested to hear.
