I’m closing my Instagram profile down on Wednesday.

I believe you can’t just complain, you have to take action.
I don’t enjoy being in the online space anymore, it’s not a place I thrive. So it’s time to step away.
My Serious About Business community opens its doors today, this afternoon in fact.
There’s time to join us, before 3pm.

I wanted to create a space for people serious about business, who want to put in the effort, who understand it takes time, who understand that connection is everything in business.
Social media in the majority, for me is about vanity.
It’s not visibility, it’s vanity.
Competition, who has the most followers, viral posts, video views, people signed up to their programmes, the amount of money made, it is vanity.
I feel it has lost its soul, its heart, its kindness, its connection.
It’s Sell, sell sell.
Business is about people, about connection, about truly seeing and hearing people.
So for now, I’m spending small pockets of time in spaces that are conducive to my time.
Many of you won’t agree and that’s ok, we are all different, it’s what makes the world the space it is.
My time from here forward will be spent building connections, not shouting into the loud abyss that is social media.
My Facebook and Instagram will be taken down, my email list will stay and linked in will focus on my corporate activities.
