Are Images ever free?
Those of you who use free images websites do so in the confident belief that you will not be infringing copyright law. And, will not be receiving the dreaded Getty Images final demand!

Selling yourself short

People in business, but not really businesspeople!
An unpleasant experience recently made me think about the many small business owners who don’t seem to understand basic business operations, or don’t have acceptable business manners. I reflected on how these attitudes resulted in the owners making fundamental mistakes, which damaged their reputation and lead to significant loss of profits, not to mention customer frustration and anger.
In my latest blog I consider how unawareness of the art of business affects many small businesses and, in particular, how it affects the owners and customers of businesses in the building trades.
Speaking as a business owner, do you think my comments are reasonable? On the other hand, as a customer, have you had experiences similar to my own? How do you feel about those I call “people in business, but not really businesspeople”?

I had a very enjoyable interview with Nick Roland of Secret Influence TV when we discussed the power of communication, entrepreneurship, and tips for being successful in business. You can see this interview at: https://youtu.be/k2h_s2SCFPs .
