When a production line is struggling, speed matters. But so does getting the fix right.
A bakery customer was experiencing ongoing steel belt tracking and tensioning problems. Our engineers inspected the complete system and identified deteriorating pneumatic cylinders as the root cause.
New heavy-duty cylinders were sourced quickly and, within just two weeks of identifying the problem, our engineers were back on site to install them.
The result? The belt was running at just 0.2 mm from its 70.0 mm setpoint, tracking correctly and the line was returned to production.
But this wasn’t simply a case of adjusting the belt and walking away.
Our approach is to find the fault, understand the root cause, fix the underlying problem and prove the result.
