✅ Double-skin inflated polythene sidewalls with inflation blowers
✅ Energy screen / screen netting with push / pull electrical gear boxes
✅ Rain water harvesting
✅ Super heavy-duty 220-micron polythene
✅ Integrated raspberry support system built into the structure
✅ Capacity to plant an additional row beneath the gutter
✅ Bird deterrent system

Every detail has been designed to maximise productivity, durability and crop performance.

The story behind this T-shirt… 🌈

Inspired by the iconic rainbow beam from Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon, we decided to create a new T-shirt that reflects what Protech is all about.

The rainbow symbolises our ability to engineer bespoke polythene solutions that modify the light spectrum to help optimise photosynthesis and improve crop performance. It also marks a special milestone as we celebrate 17 years in business.

What started as a quick sketch in the office became a reality within just a few hours—from concept and design to manufacture.

If there’s one thing to take away from this post, it’s this: At Protech, we design and manufacture bespoke growing systems and crop covers tailored to your needs. Whatever your idea, we’ll work with you to make it happen—with passion, precision and due care and attention .

“I am immensely proud and deeply honoured to have been admitted as a Freeman of the The Worshipful Company of Fruiterers.
With a remarkable heritage dating back to the 1300s and spanning more than 700 years, the Company stands today as a distinguished City of London Livery Company.

It is a true privilege to become part of such a historic institution, built upon centuries of tradition, fellowship and service. I look forward with great pride to contributing to its continuing legacy and playing a part in its future.
This is a very special and memorable milestone in my journey — one that I will always cherish.

My sincere thanks to Christopher Newenham, George Beach, Richard Harnden and Sarah Calcutt for welcoming me and making this occasion so meaningful” 🙏
