Think solar panels stop working in winter? Think again! ☀️

Solar panels generate electricity from daylight, not heat, meaning they can still produce energy throughout the colder months.

Although shorter days and less sunlight mean lower output, your solar panels are still working to help reduce your electricity bills all year round.

A complete home energy upgrade in Shrewsbury ☀️

This installation brings together 10 solar panels, 2 × 9kWh Sigenergy batteries, full-home backup, EV charging and a hot water solar diverter - all designed to help the homeowner make better use of the energy they generate.

With 18kWh of battery storage, excess solar can be stored for use later rather than going to waste, while the full backup system provides added reassurance by allowing the home to draw from its battery storage during a power cut.

The homeowner shared:
“The system is working really well and although more pricey than some installers, the quality of the installation and equipment is worth it.”

And we’re not finished yet… we’ll be returning shortly to install air conditioning too.
