Investment in the latest equipment would mean little if our finished product did not meet client expectations – this is why we employ a rigorous checking process throughout all of our print runs – achieving ISO9001 Quality Control accreditation. The people we employ share our passion. They take pride in their work, using a careful series of checks and balances to ensure that they always deliver the best quality end product. Walk around our plant and this is apparent in the close scrutiny that takes place of the work in progress, the constant adjustments that are made to ensure we achieve consistency and the meticulous examination of samples coming through our presses. You can tell that print matters to our people – because it does! We also have a policy of providing our staff with continual training to ensure that they have the very latest skills and techniques at their disposal. It is an approach that continues to attract the very best print professionals. With a serious commitment to the environment, we continue to reduce our carbon footprint by complying with recently introduced solvent emissions and constantly reviewing our energy efficiency. Through these measures we have achieved ISO14001 Environmental accreditation. We are also FSC and PEFC certified. A major new addition has arrived at P*P.

Yesterday we took delivery of our new Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 105 with CutStar reel sheeter — a significant investment in our sheetfed print capabilities and another step forward in strengthening the service and flexibility we can offer our customers.

This latest investment will help us deliver:

• Greater flexibility across a wider range of print specifications

• More cost-effective production for specialist projects

• Faster turnaround times without compromising on quality

• Consistently high-quality print performance

Combined with our recent finishing investments, including rotary trimming and spine gluing, these new capabilities continue to enhance the end-to-end service we provide for customers across publishing, direct mail and commercial print.

Exciting times ahead for the team at P*P as we continue investing in the future of print manufacturing.

Major investment. Greater capability. Stronger P*P…

We’re delighted to share some exciting developments at Precision Colour Printing. With Precision Colour Media acquiring P*P, this marks the start of a new phase of investment and growth, strengthening our capabilities across both print and finishing.

Next month, we’ll be taking delivery of an eight-colour Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 105 with CutStar reel sheeter, a major addition to our sheetfed offering.

This investment will deliver:
✔️ Greater flexibility across a wider range of work
✔️ Cost-effective production for more complex projects
✔️ Consistently high-quality output with faster turnaround times
✔️ The ability to produce press-finished products

Alongside this, rotary trimming will be fully operational by the end of April, enabling even greater efficiency in producing press-finished products.

✨ Enhanced finishing capabilities
We’ve also invested further in our finishing department, including:
Stitching lines
Multiple folders
Palamides delivery systems
Strappers and guillotines
These are already on site and will be fully operational in the coming weeks, supported by new air extraction systems to ensure a high-quality and efficient production environment.
