FRIDAY - Party time. Bubbles and live jazz band from 5-8pm. This is our first soirée in ages and with the best sale ever it would be a shame not to celebrate in style!

SATURDAY - Cream of the Crop Sale - Jewellery, Silver and Watches - 600 lots we’ve gathered from our valuation days. Starting at Lot 1.

SUNDAY - The Estate of John Harris OBE of Laundry Cottage, Badminton House and other fine smalls.
*To confirm - it is all here in my Saleroom, do not turn up at Badminton as trespassers will be shot on sight!

After the massive success of our valuation day at Chavenage Estate, the John Rolfe Auctions Roadshow continues.

Sunday 13th September - 10am-4pm

Iford Manor BA15 2BA

This magical house and gardens nestled perfectly between Bath, Frome and Bradford-on-Avon are welcoming us for the first time into their gorgeous cafe courtyard.

Come and have your items valued then explore the Grade I listed gardens. Garden entry is not required for a valuation but very much recommended!

Plenty of onsite parking and well stocked cafe so why not make a day of it! We’ll be there 10am-4pm.

I’ll be joined by my legendary jewellery and gemmology expert Richard Slater FGA DGA, you can decide whose jokes are the most dated!

All items can be considered for our Cream Of The Crop jewellery, silver and watches sale in October, it’s looking like it’s going to be another record breaker!

Chavenage House GL8 8XP valuation day Saturday 5th September.

Our last valuation day there in the spring brought us good weather and three super star lots.

And the Cartier Flower brooch an eye watering £19500!

All items seen can be considered for our next fine sale in October and the money in your account before the madness of December. What’s not to like?

The lad is back to school so thought I’d get at least one day of cheap labour in before he returns.

We took in some bumper bank holiday lots to include a collection of good terracotta pots, Georgian carved stone hog, rusted steel elephant sculpture and a collection of olive trees.

It’s another cracking garden sale on Sunday 20th September.

Art & Design sale going live this week and valuation day at Chavenage on Saturday… it’s all happening.

Also I don’t know why he always does lips like Mick Jagger??? He’s a ‘special’ boy ###

Valuation Days

John Rolfe Auctions Antiques Roadshow (they’ll never let me on the telly)

Saturday 5th September - Chavenage House GL8 8XP, home to The Rivals and Poldark and of course the lovely James & Emma Lowsley-Williams who have given us the grand hall and oak room, expect live jazz and bubbles.

So it all comes back to where it started, me putting on sales of art and design, my first love and other than doing clearances with dad how I got started turning a couple of quid in the industry.

We already have a remarkable sale with many top names in design and well respected artists both fine and modern.
