Working 5 on 2 off set Shift ( to include every weekend) you will be required to delivery products across the south-east to include Greater London. Some of the work will include cage deliveries.

45 hour working week, 9 hours per day - £16.50 per hour.
You will work on a 12 week temporary placement with the agency before going across to a permanent contract paying £40986pa

Suitable candidate requirements

- Have no more than 6 points on license
- Have experience driving Class 2 vehicles
- Have valid CPC and Tachograph
- Be confident with the EU driving laws and regulations
- A minimum of 1 years Class 2 Experience
- Experience of delivering in London preferred but not essential

Main Duties for HGV 1 Driver

Collect, deliver and exchange RO-RO bins, travelling between our clients and 3 operational sites
Following driving routes provided by Transport Department
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects to the Transport Manager immediately
To complete all paperwork accurately in a timely manner
Parking of all vehicles at the end of everyday
Making sure the cab of your lorry is always clean and tidy
Keep in regular contact with the transport manager, yard managers and weighbridge operators at each site
Attributes and Experience for HGV 1 Driver

Class 1 Driving License (Minimum 2 years)
Must hold a Drivers CPC License
RO-RO (Wagon & Drag) experience
You must have good problem-solving skills
Effective communication, both orally and in writing, is essential
You will also have an excellent phone manner
You must always look presentable as the role is customer facing
Fluent English is required
