Post-harvest drainage in the Fens 🚜💧

With harvest complete, our land drainage teams are back out across the Fens, making the most of the post-harvest window to install and improve field drainage systems.

Targeted investment. Measurable results.

One year on, we recently returned to a field where we installed a targeted drainage scheme in 2025, focusing investment only where historic yield data showed the greatest opportunity.

One year on, the results are clear. This field has just returned its best oilseed r**e yield for 2026 at 4.7 t/ha. A pleasing result given the extremes of this growing season.
