To celebrate National Baking week head to the popular Waterside café on Broadland business park, located on Old Chapel Way.

Having recently reopened following refurbishment waterside offers a relaxed and informal environment where customers can sit and enjoy and excellent selection of food and drinks.

Open seven days a week, Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 4pm.

20th is a new one for us, we'll be at from 6pm till 9pm, we're not over that way very often, so come say hi and grab some

Today is World Mental Health Day. It is important to look after your mental health at work. One way to do this is to take breaks throughout the day. Having a break is something that can make you feel more productive when you come back, and it also gives you a chance to eat some food and make a drink.

The Waterside Café offers a relaxed and informal environment where customers can sit and enjoy an excellent selection of food and drinks, overlooking the beautiful lake, providing a great space to take a break.

Alongside the café, there are beautiful grounds around the park for all to enjoy. Take a walk and spot all the wildlife, or simply sit at one of the benches throughout the park and watch the surrounding nature.

Leading housebuilders, Barratt and David Wilson Homes, has opened its regional headquarters for a brand new division in the recently refurbished Lakeside 300 building on Broadland Business Park.

The popular Waterside café on Broadland Business Park is open again following refurbishment, with a new team, new menus, takeaway options and longer opening hours.

The café features new breakfast and lunch menus with many ingredients sourced from farms throughout the county. A range of Norfolk tea and coffee and speciality foods is also available, including their own Yum Jars.

Waterside offers a relaxed and informal environment where customers can sit and enjoy an excellent selection of food and drinks, overlooking the Park's popular lake, with both inside and outside seating.

A range of takeway options is also available.

Waterside is open seven days a week, Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 4.00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9.00am to 4.00pm. It is located on Old Chapel Way on Broadland Business Park. Car and cycle parking is available.

to sunnier weather when Broadland Business Park sponsored the Norfolk Area show jumping trial at The Royal Norfolk Show. A wonderful day had by all and even a surprise visit from The Prince of Wales.

Congratulations to the winning rider, Philip Miller on his horse Don Royale.

A Norwich primary school is bringing an unused mobile classroom back into use, thanks to the donation of carpet tiles from one of Broadland Business Park’s latest tenants.

Working on Wellbeing, part of specialist occupational health providers, Optima Health, has been working on the fit out of their new offices in the recently refurbished Lakeside 300 building on Broadland Business Park.

With a number of carpet tiles surplus to requirements, Broadland Business Park’s estate manager, Joanna Thornton sought to put them to good use.

She said: “We are very keen to support our local community so, as part of our environmental, social and governance policy, we wanted to donate the carpet tiles to a worthy cause. Hemblington Primary School are currently replacing the floor of a mobile classroom unit that has been out of use awaiting repairs and funding. We spoke to Optima Health who were delighted to help us with the donation and we are so pleased that they are being put to good community use.”

There is a hive of wildlife activity at Broadland Business Park.

Considerable effort has been taken to encourage a diverse habitat, evidenced by the installation of bat, bird and owl boxes around the Park.

If you spend time sitting on one of the park benches around the lake, you will notice an abundance of wildlife, especially in the spring and summertime. Moorhens, wagtails, magpies, mallards, foxes, rabbits and even a heron are regular visitors to the lake. The moorhens and ducks return annually to breed, so look out for chicks in April/May!

In addition to the birds and mammals that frequent the lake, there is also a plethora of insects, including damselflies and dragonflies, which all add to the rich tapestry and the ecological diversity at Broadland Business Park.

We have several brilliant walking routes around the park which enable you to enjoy the wildlife. Now that the weather is becoming warmer, and the sun is shining, why not pop out on your lunchtime to enjoy a peaceful stroll?

Our Waterside Cafe is also now open! So why not pop down and enjoy a bite to eat?

WE HAVE GOOD NEWS!

The Waterside café is reopening with a new operator on Tuesday 9th May and will be offering breakfast, lunch and a fantastic bakery
selection to enjoy as you take on the views of the lake and its wildlife.
The breakfast menu will be available until 11am, and includes full breakfasts, pancakes, bagels and overnight oats.

The lunchtime menu features a range of classic café dishes such as sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes and some homemade daily specials.

The café is operated by the company that runs the amazing Blofield Farm Shop and Oaklands Hotel and will be open 7 days a week, on weekdays from 8am to 4pm, and weekends from 9am to 4pm.

Waterside will offer a relaxed and informal place where customers can Eat, Drink and Hangout!
