🍞 WE ARE SOOO EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE OUR SECOND BAKER OF THE MONTH TO BE JOINING US THIS SATURDAY 10th OCTOBER!
We’re delighted to welcome House of Bread from Helmsdale, joining us as a brand-new guest producer at Thehiddenlanethurso from 11am on Saturday!
They’ll be bringing freshly baked sourdough breads, with both plain and flavoured varieties, alongside brownies, blondies, cakes and other goodies. 😍
Whether you fancy a proper sourdough loaf for the weekend or can’t resist a freshly baked sweet treat, come along, have a browse and give our newest guest producer a lovely Hidden Lane welcome. 🧡
🥕 There’s plenty more happening across the Lane, too!
LRM Trading Ltd are stocked up with lots of lovely fresh fruit and vegetables, including more strawberries from Berry Croft 🍓, with another batch being picked and collected tonight! There is also local cooking apples, local farm hen and duck eggs, freshly made soup mixes, prepared vegetables and chips.
🥔 25kg bags of Rooster and Maris Piper potatoes are back in stock, alongside 5kg bags of Kerrs Pink and the Orkney tatties eventually caught the boat and made it over the water to us.
And after their wee break, Hungry Hill Honesty Box coleslaw and potato salad are back in the LRM fridge, ready for your weekend meals.
🌿 Over at Natures Path Natural Ways, our big Highland Wholefoods Workers Co-operative delivery has arrived, bringing lots of goodies for the shelves. We’ve also had a fresh delivery of eco-friendly household products, including laundry sheets, beeswax wraps, coconut scourers and natural latex rubber gloves.
We’ve received the very last of this year’s honey from Halkirk 🍯, so if you’ve been meaning to pick up a jar, now’s the time!
💜 Fresh elderberry marshmallows have been cut and are already selling fast! I’m hoping to squeeze in another batch tonight, although after being awake since 6am, we’ll see how much energy is left! 😂 If I manage it, there may also be some organic vanilla bean marshmallows joining the elderberry ones.
Just imagine a cosy evening snuggled up with a hot chocolate and a fluffy homemade marshmallow. ☕️✨
🪵 With the colder evenings setting in, we’ve also had a fresh delivery of seasoned, cut logs and kindling from Dunnet Community Forest. Perfect for getting the fire going and making home feel extra cosy!
🍲 And don’t forget Fresh Favourites - Meals & Catering! Fresh meals are available in the NPNW fridge, frozen meals are stocked in LRM’s freezer, and there’ll be Oreo cheesecake for those who fancy a little something sweet. 😋
