✨More photos from a fantastic Annual Dinner!

It was a brilliant evening bringing together businesses and professionals from across the region to celebrate achievements, strengthen connections and enjoy great company.

Our Annual Dinner is always one of the highlights of the year, showcasing the strength of our business community and providing an opportunity to recognise success, build relationships and catch up with colleagues old and new.

A huge thank you to our sponsors for helping make the evening such a memorable occasion: NRS Dounreay, Pentland Ferries, Ayre Offshore Wind Farm, JGC Engineering & Technical Services Ltd, Sinclair Bay Subsea, Pentland Floating Offshore Wind Farm, Saffery, Altrad, GMG Energy, and The Caithness Collection.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to such a successful event. We hope you enjoy this latest selection of photos from a great night.

✨Congratulations to Creel & Crumb, winners of our Young Business of the Year Award, presented by Richard Copeland of Pentland Floating Offshore Wind.

The category attracted an outstanding calibre of applications, showcasing the innovation, ambition and entrepreneurial spirit that continue to thrive across our region.

Based at Wick Harbour, Creel & Crumb serve high-quality seafood dishes that celebrate Caithness’s natural larder. Their strong commitment to authenticity is reflected in the way they work closely with local fishermen and suppliers to showcase the very best of the area. Their success is a fantastic example of how young businesses can support the local economy while proudly celebrating the region’s maritime traditions.

🎉 Congratulations to Jade Sinclair from Zumbini with Jade, winner of our Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, presented by award sponsor Coll Murchison-MacDonald of Saffery.

The award presentation was one of the highlights of our Annual Dinner. With an exceptionally strong calibre of entrants, our judges had a difficult task in choosing just one winner.

Zumbini with Jade offers early years sessions built around music, movement and play. The business has created a welcoming space that supports children’s development, strengthens family wellbeing and helps tackle isolation.

It is inspiring to see young entrepreneurs and businesses continuing to drive innovation, ambition and growth across the North Highlands.

"Winning the Young Entrepreneur Award is a huge achievement that I am extremely proud of. It has fuelled my desire to create more learning opportunities and prioritise Early Years and ASN families across Caithness and Sutherland. I am ready to grow and excited for the future ahead!"

It was wonderful to welcome so many guests to our 52nd Annual Dinner last Thursday evening. A special thank you to the team at the Norseman Hotel in Wick for once again hosting us and looking after everyone so well throughout the evening.

We were delighted to be joined by Charandeep Singh BEM, CEO of Scottish Chambers of Commerce, whose keynote reflected on his visits with local businesses and the opportunities and challenges facing the area.

Our Chair, Stephen Sutherland, opened the evening before introducing our Master of Ceremonies, The Rt. Hon. Viscount Thurso. We were also pleased to hear from Mac MacGill of NRS Dounreay, the evening’s Principal Sponsor.

Kevin Quantum, magician and Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist, kept guests entertained and the evening finished with the Young Business of the Year and Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards, celebrating emerging talent and ambition across the region.

Thank you to our sponsors, team and guests for helping make the evening such a success. We’ll be sharing the award announcements and more photographs soon, so keep an eye out!
