Some people give time; Esme Fordham gives her heart. At 87 years old, the Essex volunteer has been honoured for more than a decade of devoted service to Remus Horse Sanctuary.

Honoured at a special ceremony at Chelmsford Cathedral, Esme received a silver plate award for her incredible contribution to the voluntary sector. Volunteering more than 40 hours a week, she supports the Sanctuary through hands-on animal care, preparing medication and assisting with fundraising efforts.

The Heartbeat of Rescue: Celebrating LUOSKO’s Incredible Volunteers

Behind every happy tail and successful adoption at Luosko German Shepherd Dog Rescue is a team of dedicated volunteers working tirelessly to give dogs the care they deserve. Their commitment and compassion help create a safe and nurturing environment where dogs can heal, grow and prepare for life with a loving family.

Each day, volunteers take on a variety of essential responsibilities, from exercising and grooming dogs to preparing meals, maintaining clean kennels, and ensuring every animal receives the attention they need. Equally important are the volunteers working behind the scenes, managing administration, responding to enquiries, and sharing the rescue’s work across social media to reach potential adopters and supporters.

Together, these volunteers create a supportive environment where dogs can recover, rebuild trust and begin a new chapter. Their commitment demonstrates the power of community and compassion in transforming lives.

At iCollectClothes, we are honoured to support organisations like LUOSKO and remain committed to recognising the incredible individuals who help create brighter futures for animals in need.💙

HEART UK’s Life-Saving Impact Continues to Grow

Across the UK, HEART UK continues to lead the fight against cholesterol and cardiovascular disease, helping families live healthier lives for longer. During 2025/26, the charity achieved another year of remarkable progress by expanding services, strengthening education and influencing national healthcare discussions.

This year, HEART UK strengthened its Cholesterol SMART® programme, delivered valuable education for the public and healthcare professionals, and expanded its growing ChangeMaker programme to support local communities. Its professional networks have also continued to give healthcare workers the knowledge, confidence and platform they need to drive better care.

As the NHS prepares to implement its new cardiovascular framework, HEART UK remains at the forefront of shaping future policy and pushing for greater recognition of cholesterol-related conditions.

At iCollectClothes we are honoured to support and champion the incredible work carried out by HEART UK every day.❤️

Young Voices Transforming NHS Training

Every meaningful step towards inclusion begins with listening to the people whose experiences matter most. For disabled and neurodivergent young people, being heard is not only about representation; it is about shaping systems, improving understanding and helping professionals see care through a more human lens.

Three young people supported by AFK - Working With Disability have recently joined the NHS Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training delivery team, helping educate healthcare professionals through the power of lived experience. The training was created to improve understanding of autism and learning disabilities, ensuring people receive compassionate, respectful and informed care across health and social care services.

By sharing their own experiences, disabled and neurodivergent trainers bring honesty, insight and authenticity into the room. Their voices help professionals look beyond policy and understand the real barriers people can face when accessing services.

At iCollectClothes we are privileged to stand alongside causes that create opportunities, celebrate lived experience and help build more inclusive services for all.💜

Putting Patient Experience at the Heart of Cancer Care

Every cancer treatment review is an opportunity to listen, support and protect patients. Sussex Cancer Fund is helping advance this important area of care by funding research into nurse and pharmacist-led SACT review clinics, which support patients receiving treatments such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies.

The study, led by researcher Lisa Barrott, explores how patients experience these appointments and how healthcare professionals deliver care in both face-to-face and remote settings. As more people undergo complex cancer treatments, understanding what makes patients feel safe and supported has never been more important.

As cancer treatments become more advanced and demand continues to grow, research like this ensures care remains patient-centred.

At iCollectClothes we are committed to supporting organisations making a meaningful difference to patient care and wellbeing.💜

Changing the Future of Leukaemia Care Across the UK

Every leukaemia patient deserves more than treatment alone — they deserve compassionate, consistent support throughout every stage of their journey. Leukaemia Care’s newly launched Standards of Care introduces 19 nationally agreed benchmarks designed to ensure patients across the UK receive care that supports emotional wellbeing, practical needs, and financial guidance alongside medical treatment.

Developed alongside patients, healthcare professionals, and national cancer organisations, the framework highlights the importance of emotional wellbeing, specialist nursing support, accessible information, and ongoing practical guidance throughout a patient’s journey. The project also addresses the gaps many families still face when trying to access vital psychological and financial support services.

By bringing together healthcare providers and support organisations, these standards represent an important step towards creating fairer and more compassionate care for everyone affected by leukaemia, MPNs, and MDS.

At iCollectClothes we are delighted to stand beside organisations like Leukaemia Care in supporting communities and helping raise awareness for life-changing causes across the UK.💙

Expanded Treatment Access Brings Hope to Kidney Patients

Important changes to NHS treatment guidance are set to benefit more people living with chronic kidney disease. Kidney Care UK has welcomed updated NICE recommendations that expand access to medication for hyperkalaemia, a serious condition caused by high potassium levels in the blood.

For many people with kidney disease, the body struggles to remove excess potassium properly, which can lead to symptoms such as tiredness, dizziness, nausea and stomach discomfort. If left untreated, severe hyperkalaemia can become life-threatening. The revised guidance means more patients will now qualify for sodium zirconium cyclosilicate (SZC), helping them stay on important medication that protects kidney function and lowers serious health risks.

The changes will also make ongoing treatment more convenient, with repeat prescriptions available through local GPs after specialist approval.

iCollectClothes greatly admires Kidney Care UK’s ongoing commitment to supporting individuals affected by kidney disease and raising awareness of life-changing treatments.🧡

Inside Cherry Trees' Inspiring New Beginning

Warmth and compassion were at the centre of a special visit to Cherry Trees UK – Goldcrest Lodge, as CEO Claire Bryant welcomed Julie Butler from Petersfield’s Shine Radio to the newly opened Hampshire respite home. Touring the transformed property together, Julie was able to see first-hand how the house is becoming a comforting and supportive environment for children and families.

During the visit, Claire spoke passionately about the heart behind Cherry Trees’ mission — creating a safe, joyful environment where every child feels welcomed, supported, and encouraged to grow in confidence and independence. With children already returning through the doors ahead of the official reopening, the home is quickly becoming a place filled with laughter, friendship, and opportunity.

Claire also spoke about the many ways the community can get involved, from volunteering and fundraising to taking part in challenge events.

At iCollectClothes, we are honoured to support inspiring organisations like Cherry Trees as they continue transforming young lives through compassion, care, and community support.❤️

Breaking Barriers at Emirates Stadium

True inclusion is built through thoughtful action, and Colostomy UK’s partnership with Arsenal Football Club reflects just that. Together, they are making Emirates Stadium a more stoma-friendly space, helping ensure that fans living with a stoma can enjoy matchdays with greater comfort and confidence.

This initiative focuses on raising awareness while improving facilities, helping individuals living with a stoma navigate public spaces with greater ease. Insights from Arsenal’s Disability Access Manager, Aaron Heskins, highlight the work behind the scenes, while Alan Schneider’s lived experience brings to light the real impact these changes have on confidence and daily life.

This collaboration shows the power of organisations working together to make everyday moments more inclusive, respectful and accessible.

A Turning Point for Allergy Care in the UK

A powerful shift in healthcare begins as the UK launches its first-ever National Allergy Strategy. Introduced at Westminster during Allergy Awareness Week, this initiative unites leading charities, healthcare professionals and patient voices to confront a condition affecting over a quarter of the population.

With allergies impacting around 39% of children and 30% of adults, the strategy calls for stronger leadership, fairer access to healthcare, better prevention, wider public awareness and world-leading research. It also supports vital legislation, including Benedict’s Law for allergy safety in schools and Owen’s Law for clearer allergen information in food outlets.

For years, allergy services have struggled with limited resources and inconsistent care. This new approach represents a vital shift towards a more joined-up, effective system that prioritises patient safety and long-term wellbeing.

At iCollectClothes we are proud to stand behind Anaphylaxis UK, supporting initiatives that drive awareness, improve wellbeing and support safer futures for communities nationwide.🧡
