It's tough being in business in this economic situation. So hard for business to recruit and retain staff. Every cost has gone up and yet hard to increase prices and remain affordable. There's a lot of apathy out there.
My respect goes to all who survived lockdown, strikes, financial crisis and all the other things affecting business.

Covid 19 Funding

As we have been keeping our clients up to date with all Covid19 related funding, these are the most recent updates:

If you are in receipt of SBF funding, the final 4 weekly payment for this will be 22nd March 2021. This will then be followed by final 2 week payment, and a one off re-start grant on the 19th April 2021.

Amounts for the grants will vary dependant on the rateable value of the business premises. The re-start grant is between £6,000 - £18,000, again this is dependant on the rateable value, and the nature of the business.

Please remember to apply to your local authority for the Discretionay Fund, full T&Cs are available from your local council websites.

Here in Clackmannanshire, they have extended the application closing date to 31st March 2021 (Wednesday).
