Sometimes a customer doesn't have all the answers.

They've got a photo, a rough idea, and a sentence that starts with:
"Basically, I need something that..." And that's absolutely fine!

Many jobs start with that sort of conversation. From there, I can ask the questions I need to and we can work out what's going to work best.

You don't always need to know exactly what you need before you get in touch.

Things I never expected to make when I started out...

370 plastic pucks for an art project
A water pod for a wild cat
Seven mobile sink units for festivals
And football boot boxes!

They're all very different jobs, but that's one of the things I enjoy about what I do. You never quite know what's going to come through the door next.

Plastic isn't just plastic.

There are different types and thicknesses, and what I use depends on what I'm making and what it's going to be used for. Something that needs to hold water will have different requirements to something being used as a guard or outside in all weathers. That's why I always want to know what something is going to be used for before deciding on the material.
