So many women measure their worth by material things.
The clothes. The car. The title. The apartment. The follower count. The lifestyle that looks put together online.
But none of it can tell you who you are.
Things can be bought, lost, upgraded, or outdated. Your worth was never meant to rise and fall with what you own or how it looks.
As young Christian women, our focus is on God. Our worth is in God.
Not in what we’re wearing, driving, or posting, but in the One who made us. He decided your value before you owned a single thing, and nothing you add or lose can change it.
That doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy nice things or work hard for a good life. It means we hold them loosely, because our identity is held by Someone who never changes.
So when comparison gets loud, come back to this:
Your worth is settled in God.
Your focus is on Him.
Everything else is a bonus, not a basis.
“Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” (Proverbs 31:30)
Save this for the days comparison gets loud.
