Kit for Kids At Kit for Kids® we believe the care, development and growth of the child is paramount. At Kit for Kids it’s not what we do, but why we do it that counts.

In the Education sector, development of the child’s mind in its early years is vital, and Kit for Kids leads the way with our range of learning and play products. We believe we have a part to play in the betterment of children’s lives worldwide. Our vision is to create a world in which every child has the best in its care, development and growth. We believe in aligning ourselves with those who share our vision and beliefs. In doing so we can create a better world for the generation to come.

"If you are going to get anywhere in life you have to read a lot of books.” — Roald Dahl

Celebrating Roald Dahl Day with a moment we all treasure in Early Years: a child tucked into a quiet corner, lost in a story.

These calm reading spaces help little imaginations grow, giving them room to explore characters, worlds, and ideas far beyond the carpet they’re sitting on.

Today we celebrate the magic of early literacy

This year’s theme, Literacy for People, the Planet and Prosperity, reminds us that every story we share helps children connect with themselves, others, and the world around them.

National Early Years Teacher Day

Today, we celebrate the incredible work of Early Years teachers — the care, patience, and dedication you bring to every day.

From creating calm, nurturing environments to supporting children’s confidence, curiosity, and wellbeing, the impact you make reaches far beyond the classroom.

Thank you for everything you do to help children feel safe, supported, and ready to grow. 💛

World Maths Day

Maths in the early years is all about exploration, play, and discovery. From counting blocks and recognising shapes to spotting patterns in everyday activities, children are building important skills without even realising it!

Through hands-on experiences and engaging learning environments, educators help make maths fun, accessible, and part of everyday learning.

At Kit for Kids, we love seeing classrooms where curiosity, creativity, and confidence in numbers can grow. 🌱

💬 What’s your favourite way to introduce maths in your setting?
