Something a bit different from the Electrix team this week.

If you have solar panels but no battery storage, your surplus electricity goes straight back to the grid. An Elnur solar storage heater offers a clever, low-cost way to use that surplus to heat your home over winter.

These units draw directly from your solar generation during the day, storing heat in a high-density ceramic core and releasing it gradually throughout the evening. No complex installation, no boiler involved, and a genuinely useful complement to an existing solar setup.

Commercial electricity bills across the UK have been consistently high for three years. For businesses with usable roof space, solar is no longer just an environmental decision.

Electrix Renewable design and install commercial solar systems for offices, industrial units, retail premises, hospitality sites, agricultural buildings and farms across Devon and the South West. The question we always start with is the same: what does the site currently spend on electricity, and how much of that daytime load can a roof system realistically offset?

For many commercial sites, the payback period on a well-specified installation is now between five and eight years. After that the system runs for twenty or more years at minimal cost.

We carry out a full site assessment and provide a projected payback calculation before any commitment is made.
