This month's forum focuses on two exciting topics that will help shape the future of Torbay's economy, visitor offer and creative sector, making it a must-attend event for businesses across the Bay.

We'll begin the morning with Councillor Jackie Thomas, Cabinet Member for Tourism, Culture & Events and Corporate Services, who will introduce two major initiatives being supported by Torbay Council and highlight the importance of businesses working together to drive the Bay's future success.

Our keynote speaker, Maureen McAllister, lead consultant for Torbay's new Destination Management Plan, will provide an overview of the vision, priorities and opportunities for local businesses, along with how you can become involved in shaping its delivery.

Maureen will then be joined by Simon Beer, Managing Director of Bigwave Marketing | B Corp™, to introduce the exciting new Torbay Creative Cluster - a collaborative initiative bringing together professionals from advertising, design, marketing, digital, media and the arts to strengthen one of Torbay's fastest-growing sectors.

Whether you're involved in tourism, hospitality, retail, professional services, the creative industries or simply want to understand what's next for Torbay, this promises to be an inspiring and informative morning.

Torbay’s seafront will become the centre of international watersports this weekend as more than 200 paddlers descend on the bay for the ICF SUP World Cup 2026 and Paddle UK SUPER Festival, alongside a programme of family activities, live music and community events.
