Westcountry Fire Protection is a growing and trusted provider of fire and security solutions across the South West. We specialise in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and emergency lighting systems for commercial and domestic clients.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Fire & Security Engineer to join our team.
The Role
As a Fire & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Maintenance of Fire alarm systems ,CCTV systems, Intruder alarms, Access control systems and Emergency lighting
Fault finding and repairs
Completing service reports and documentation
Providing excellent customer service on-site
Working independently and as part of a team
Participating in an on-call rota when required
On call rota
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience working within the fire and security industry
Knowledge of fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems
Strong fault-finding skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Preferred but not essential:
FIA qualifications
IPAF or PASMA certification
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
