A £6 million investment in equipment, technology, and production capacity has transformed our Totnes foundry, Precision Casting, strengthening our position as a high-performance sand casting manufacturer and our commitment, as an SME, to support customers, drive market growth, and build more resilient UK supply chains.
Modernising has meant new automated production processes and new moulding and melting technologies, designed to increase capacity by around six times. By combining advanced casting, machining, and inspection in one UK operation, we help customers reduce supply chain complexity, improve resilience, and bring critical manufacturing closer to home.

We're excited to announce the installation of our new tilting furnace at our Totnes foundry. 🙌

This advanced Nabertherm furnace will play a key role in our aluminium precision casting process, joining the growing line-up of equipment in our new facility.

With smooth controlled tilting and exact temperature control, it enables safer, more consistent handling of molten metals – leading to higher-quality castings, faster turnarounds and greater flexibility to work with a wide range of alloys.

This investment strengthens our capability to meet the demands of construction, defence, marine and other industries where precision and reliability are critical.
