Mobile wood processing and splitting service:

At Grafton Logs , we offer a reliable and efficient mobile wood processing and log splitting service across Milton Keynes, Towcester, and all surrounding areas.

Our Sullivans engineering splitter features a 16-tonne splitting capacity, capable of handling even the toughest timber—provided it fits beneath the ram. We also offer log cutting and processing using chainsaws, ensuring your timber is fully prepared to your requirements ready for the wood burning season.

For larger-scale jobs, we can supply a wood processor. Please note, this requires either:

A single-phase power supply, or

An on-site generator with a blue single-phase connection.

The wood processor cuts logs up to 300mm in diameter.

This service is ideal for domestic and commercial clients looking to process firewood quickly and efficiently.

We are conveniently based between Milton Keynes and Towcester, allowing us to cover a wide service area including Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Olney, Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable and further afield.

New Upgrade to the old Makita 5000 pro she’s a good old girl with plenty of punch for small tree works and some logging but she’s also heavy and not as realible as a stihl 261 Pro, As I’m getting older less weight on the saw and reliability is a big benefit.

Makita pictured here has a 14” bar (also have an 18” for her) stihl with a 18” bar both run a .325 chain.

She’s so new and shiny I don’t want to use her though just like a new pair of trainers!

But Monday and Tuesday we have a wood processing project for a new customer so she’ll get dirty and scuffed and earn her stars and I’m sure I’ll clean her thoroughly afterwards 😁😁😁

After a hard graft this week I’m relaxing from work (rare!) I’m watching six nations rugby! Being Irish decent I’m gunning for the boys in green but the Italians didn’t make it easy for them and didn’t deserve to lose the match!

Having payed myself (badly 🤣) I know the game is tough at times and sometimes games don’t go the way you plan!

Now watching England vs Scotland 🏉 rugby 💪💪
