Gas Assessment & Training Centre

Following a major incident in Treforest overnight and due to road closures near and around the training centre we will, unfortunately, have to close the Gas Assessment & Training Centre today 14/12/2023 for the day.

We are all very saddened to hear of this tragedy and our thoughts and prayers go out to all affected by this incident.

Mixed bag last night. Rhys is over the moon to break a 120mph lap on the Gas Assessment & Training Centre , Lee Williams Contractors R1 on only his 4th lap around. Unfortunately oil on the circuit scuppered second practice so we are still to get a lap in on the twin and 600, more news there to come later

This is Lauren. She’s a fully qualified electrician working for a large company. She spent five years doing an apprenticeship and knows the job inside out. But, despite this, she often gets abuse from customers and strangers. One man even stopped her in the street and shouted; “a female electrician, what has the world come to”, while others ask her if she’s even capable of getting the job done or lifting heavy things. But Lauren doesn’t let this hold her back. If anything it spurs her on. She’s now determined to prove that trade careers are not just for men - and hopes to inspire other young girls to pursue careers in the industry too. You go Lauren! 💪

2023 racing plans are shaping up to be pretty exciting. I'm chuffed to bits to be competing in the IRRC this year riding for Never be Clever Racing. This feels particularly special to be working with the team who supported Mark purslow last year and he will be in our thoughts throughout.
I'm grateful to and looking forward to racing alongside my new team mate, where we will be contesting all rounds except for Schleiz. I'm really looking forward to working with Never be Clever Racing and to getting out on some new road race circuits

I will also be competing on my Kaymac Marine & Civil Engineering Ltd, Willson and Wilding R6. Gas Assessment & Training Centre / Lee Williams R1 and GATC Supertwin at
IOMTT,
Southern 100,
Manx Grand Prix ,
Scarborough Spring Cup, Barry Sheene and Gold Cup
And various short circuits
