🛠️ Got a knick for fixing things, or just love a good slice of cake? Join our Repair Café team! 🍰
We are looking for friendly volunteers to lend a hand at our monthly Repair Café! Whether you are handy with a screwdriver, a whiz with a sewing machine, or simply great at welcoming people and pouring tea, we would love you to step forward.
There is no ongoing commitment to attend every session. We run for just 2 hours a month, and as a huge thank you, all our volunteers get free tea and delicious cake !
Why Join Us ? Here is what you gain by stepping forward:
Help Reduce Local Waste: Be part of the solution by keeping perfectly good items out of landfill and reducing environmental impact.
Share Your Knowledge & Skills: Pass on your expertise to others or collaborate with fellow volunteers to tackle tricky fixes together.
Connect & Give Back to the Community: Meet local neighbours, make new friends, and help strengthen our village community spirit.
Enjoy a Sense of Achievement & Worth: Experience that incredible "eureka" moment when a broken item is brought back to life.
Help Neighbours Save Money: Support local residents by repairing household items so they do not have to buy costly replacements.
Have Fun & Keep Active: Keep your mind sharp, problem-solve in a relaxed environment, and enjoy a lovely social catch-up.
Drop an email to [email protected] to find out how you can get involved. We'd love to have you on board.
