This week’s BNI Tunbridge Wells feature presentation was delivered by one of our newest members, Gary Valentine Fuller, Funeral Director.

Gary has two family-owned practices: Valentine Family Funeral Directors in Orpington and G.M. Valentine Family Funeral Directors on St John’s Road in Tunbridge Wells.

Despite dealing with what can be a sensitive subject, Gary delivered a presentation that was informative, inspiring, and thoroughly entertaining. We particularly loved hearing his backstory...including how watching the early 2000s TV series Don’t Drop the Coffin as a boy first sparked his passion for the profession.

He consistently strikes the perfect balance between lighthearted humour and absolute integrity, always speaking with deep sincerity, compassion, and expertise.

So satisfying to watch!

The team at B R Holland & Sons Ltd has been hard at work at the Railway Tavern in Jarvis Brook, East Sussex. Decades of external paint were painstakingly removed to reveal the stunning original brickwork hidden underneath.

This project is just one example of the specialist restoration and cleaning work Wayne Holland and his team undertake daily. Their expertise spans across:

• Commercial & Industrial Cleaning
• Building Restoration
• Sandblasting
• Graffiti Removal

Note: The heritage pub signs were carefully preserved throughout the process. Check the comments for the ‘after’ shot—we think you’ll agree the end result was well worth the effort!
