This Monday morning motivation is brought to you from the school run and a mind that makes mountains out of molehills.

Last year, despite resolving to walk every day, we managed to walk to school for about the first week and then I gave up and drove (bearing in mind it's only a 10 minute walk and take almost as long in the car by the time you get out our streets junction and get parked at the school).

I convinced myself it was too hard, definitely too far, would take too much energy and time and that I couldn't do it. I'd actually imagined myself as puffing for breath!

Instead, it was quick and fairly easy. No heavy breathing and stress free.

So think about it.... If you're putting something off, is it because you've told yourself a story about how it will be hard and difficult?

What do you need to do to change that thinking? Just do it.... You'll find it wasn't as bad as you think!

It's been a hectic week and a bit.

In this chaos, I completely forgot I was supposed to turn the cart off on Wednesday for Master your Numbers.

I have been hinting at something new being on it's way and I'm ecstatic to say it's here!

Before I drop all the details, here's the back story.

I have been a creative entrepreneur for 18 years, alongside a full time job up until 2 years ago when I decided to go full time in my business. I worked my way up in retail to a Sales Manager position in a Telecomms company, so as you can imagine, I focused on targets, metrics and coaching a team to perfom EVERY SINGLE DAY.

The only problem was, my personal values and beliefs do not align with those of a large corporation and so I left.

My passion now is to share what I learned there with small business owners who started their business like I did: from a place of passion or hobby rather than because we have a business degree and think this is the hot niche to get into 😉😉

Already I can hear you:

😅 But Kat, I don't like money (oh yes, I've heard this)

OR

😶‍🌫️ I'm not good with numbers

Or even:

🤔 I don't want to be like a big corporation, so I'll just keep doing what I am doing

And I get it, I really do.

But I am a big believe in KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.

Learning how to price your products to fit your value, how to understand financial statements, set relevent goals and understand how to use metrics and review your progress isn't going to change your morals and who you are at your core.

However, it IS going to make a huge change to your business and in the very best way.

Where we focus our attention and use the numbers in our businesses to guide our decsions is where growth happens.

THIS is what I'm teaching in my workshops next week! It's so important to know your baseline or breakeven point to Discover your Financial Freedom as this is the number you will use to plot your business growth.

That's why this workshop is actually a pre-work module for my signature course Master your Numbers. Once you figure this number out it allows you to set goals and targets, price effectively and monitor your cashflow.
