What am I doing today?

Well was meant to be house work and sorting the car out. Sat down to try something which involved hooks n yarn and ended up making these. A bath scrubbie and a face scrubbie. (Ps I am a total beginner at crochet)

What's your Saturday been like?

Yesterday was a year since we said our final goodbye to Dad. Not been an easy year, but on 21st May we had a little celebration of Dad's life. During that celebration we presented a cheque to Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis, mum has worked really hard raising this, and am so proud of her.

Wasn't sure about posting this, then thought sod it. It was a job well done and was appreciated. I worked with some fab people during my time back at CCC/PCC supporting Public Health through the pandemic, it was busy beyond belief, it was upsetting too to hear the stories as well as hearing and seeing the challenges faced in various settings. I know there were others whom worked bloody hard during the pandemic too and though Covid hasn't gone away I hope it never returns with the force it came with.

Busy morning. Setting up craft stall with mum, who has been busy making bears and rabbits for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis. Horrid condition that we lost Dad to in May this year. Happy Birthday Dad!

Have you ever made a mistake, I mean a little mistake that kept playing on your mind or a big mistake that you thought "oh crap"? Going to be open and honest, YES I have, but it what you learn from it that counts, I mean do you own up to your mistakes (I do) do you also have a solution to put your mistake right (I always try to), but most of all its how you go forward. How do you deal with your mistakes......
