For anyone who's recently found their way here, hello. I'm Lowenna, and I should probably explain what a digital witch actually does.
The witchy bit isn't just an aesthetic choice. It's actually quite a good description of how I work. When a client comes to me with a problem, I don't just look at the thing that's broken. I look at everything around it, because nine times out of ten, the thing that appears to be broken is just a symptom of something else entirely. Finding that something else, and fixing it properly, is what I do.
Awenek, which means "creative" in Kernewek, the Cornish language, has been going for ten years now. We started life as a virtual assistant business and evolved into something that sits more comfortably under the umbrella of process architecture: building the automations, workflows and digital foundations that let small businesses run properly, without the eye-watering agency fees.
The tools I use are Airtable, Make, Jotform and Softr, mostly. The approach is always no-code, no jargon, no making you feel like you should have paid more attention in IT.
Outside of work, I read voraciously, have a collection of creatively abandoned craft projects (crochet and jewellery-making, mostly), drive fast cars around tracks with great enthusiasm, and have a deep and entirely serious relationship with fountain pens. The diversity of interests is deliberate: a brain that only thinks about one thing gets stale.
If any of this sounds like something your business needs, I'm always happy to have a conversation.
