It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the devastating news that our Managing Director, Owain Davies, has died in a plane crash in Switzerland.

Owain was a force of nature – deeply loved by his family, admired and respected by his colleagues, and a good friend to many. An unforgettable character who will be greatly missed.

We have shared a more detailed tribute to Owain here: https://amcanu.co.uk/news-and-thoughts/remembering-owain-davies/

Mechanic or fitter?
Ready for a cleaner kind of challenge?

If you’re confident with tools, mechanically minded and take pride in getting things right, your skills could be an excellent fit for Amcanu’s assembly team.

We’re looking for someone with experience in automotive mechanics, mechanical fitting or a similar hands-on role… someone who would welcome the opportunity to move into a modern and clean assembly environment.

Instead of servicing and repairing vehicles or machinery, you’ll use your practical skills to help build high-quality industrial enclosures and technology cabinets for customers in the UK and around the world.

It’s a chance to completely change your working environment without leaving your hard-earned skills behind.

Find out more and apply:

🚫 BBQ & FIRES BAN 🚫

The hot and dry weather has resulted in the county becoming at risk of wildfire.
As a result, we feel that we must introduce a ban on the use of any type of BBQs or fires at all of our Country Parks.
We will review the ban in light of the prevailing weather and conditions observed by our team.
We are sure that our visitors will understand the need to introduce a ban which will ease the pressure on the Fire Service and protect our Country Parks
As soon as conditions improve the ban will be lifted
