Cooking with my friend Tom! I asked him if there was a dish he’d like to try and learn, or something he’d like to share.
Laksa was the answer!
Tom worked in a Malaysian restaurant when he was younger and one of the dishes he has fond memories of was the owner’s homemade Laksa.
He’s had it since but it’s never been quite the same. So we got the ingredients and phoned his old boss to get some tips.
The end result was pretty close to what he remembered!
Cooking with others is something I really love - sharing ingredients and techniques but also finding out more about each other and spending quality time together.
It’s something I’d like to do more of and see where it leads - so watch this space! 👀😁🚶🏻♂️
