Xytal help healthcare teams become more efficient and effective. We are driven by a shared goal: to improve healthcare in the UK. Since 2003, we have assisted over 1,200 primary and secondary care organisations across the UK. We have assembled a team of consultants from private and public sectors, whose extensive range of skills blend clinical and non-clinical expertise. Effective, compassionate, and driven, Xytal has worked alongside over 1,200 primary and secondary care organisations across the UK. We take a holistic approach to healthcare transformation, integrating leadership development, coaching and process improvement to drive meaningful change. We support healthcare teams to become more efficient, productive and successful, designing completely bespoke solutions to unique situations, and adapting our support to each organisation’s specific needs. Our consultants have worked alongside NHS colleagues in different capacities and bring a wealth of real-world experience from across the sector. We regularly share our insights through articles, events, and webinars. Our goal is to use our skills to benefit real people, every day.

Merry Christmas from everyone at Xytal 🎄

As the year comes to a close, we want to thank the NHS teams and partners we have had the opportunity to work alongside. Your commitment, care and persistence continue to inspire us, especially in the face of ongoing pressure.

We are grateful for the trust placed in us and for the relationships that make this work possible. None of this happens without people showing up for one another, day in and day out.

We hope the festive break brings a chance to pause, spend time with people who matter to you, and enjoy a moment of rest.

Wishing you a peaceful Christmas and a positive start to the year ahead ✨

✨ Some really exciting news to share.

Our partnership with Suffolk and North East Essex ICB has been shortlisted for the HSJ Partnership Awards 2026 in the category Most Effective Contribution to Integrated Health and Care.

Our application, Reconnecting the Primary Secondary Interface, reflects work that has brought leaders together across primary and secondary care to rebuild relationships, tackle long standing challenges and create practical momentum for integrated working.

To see this work recognised nationally is something we are incredibly proud of. Huge thanks to everyone across SNEE who has shaped, challenged and contributed to the programme so far.

We are excited to see what comes next 🤞✨

"Every change management programme begins with a shared view of what good looks like. Achieving this requires collaboration across health, social care, voluntary sectors, and neighbourhood teams that serve as the foundation of local integration. Strategic leadership and skilled facilitation are vital in shaping aspirations that unite organisations with little history of working together."

In the podcast: The Source of Power that Create Real Change, Dr Richard More talks to Dr Rachel Morris about power in a different way.

Not just the power that comes with a role or a title, but the kind that grows when people feel safe, connected and clear about why they are here.

He shares how small, purposeful actions, shared relationships and psychological safety can move a team from tension to solutions, even when the system feels heavy.

If you are leading in that kind of environment, this conversation is a helpful place to pause and reset.

Listen here: https://youarenotafrog.com/episodes/295/

When you see problems that need fixing, but the system lacks power, time, and resources to make meaningful change, it’s easy to feel stuck. The key to change isn’t more resources, but understanding how to deploy different types of power effectively. Doctors often rely solely on “expert power.....

On Wednesday our company became an EBT. Why did we want this transition to happen?

The answer is that a strong body of evidence has shown that services improve and become more impactful for clients when operating as an employee benefit trust (EBT).

It is understood advantages are unlocked indirectly by fostering a more engaged and motivated workforce who will prioritise client satisfaction making the link to their own benefit.

By implementing an EBT, Xytal is aligning our employees with long-term success. A change to encourage behaviours like greater care, proactive problem-solving, and a deeper commitment to our clients
Building on our B Corp status and similar evolutions over the years, we are confident this will form a further positive step in ensuring consistent, trustworthy, and positive experiences for our NHS partners.

Once again it was that time of year when the Xytal team came together to pause, reconnect and share what we have been working on.

There was a mix of conversation, learning and reflection, with time to explore challenges together and space to think about how we continue to grow as a team.

Stepping away from the day to day always helps us focus on what matters and appreciate the range of skills and perspectives that shape our work.

We were also joined by Dr Gabriel Mata Cervantes, Head of Research and Evaluation for the Primary Care, Community Transformation and Improvement Team at NHS England. Gabe talked us through outcomes and data, and gave us the opportunity to ask questions about data collection in a way that felt clear and supportive.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to Gabe for sharing his insight with us 💙

We’ve got some exciting news to share at Xytal today 💙

We are now officially an Employee Benefit Trust company. It feels like a natural next step for us and it says a lot about the kind of place we want Xytal to be.

Everyone here now has a share in our future. It gives people a stronger voice, a sense of ownership, and a feeling that the work they put in everyday will really shape where we go next.

It’s a milestone that means a lot to us as a team. A small reminder that transformation is something we live as well as support.

Wishing you a bright and joyful Diwali, filled with light, laughter, and togetherness! ✨🪔

⭐ It’s Personalised Care Week ⭐
The NHS 10-Year Health Plan makes one thing clear: the future of healthcare is personalised.

That means people having real choice and control, with care shaped around their goals, values, and everyday lives.
Neighbourhood Teams are the foundation for this change, bringing professionals together so personalised care planning becomes routine.

We see how powerful this is: when care is co-designed, outcomes improve, communities grow stronger, and people feel heard.
