Another Post Office Handed Over – Uppingham Road, Leicester.

We’re pleased to confirm the successful sale of Uppingham Road Post Office in Leicester to Mr Lalani, who completed the purchase on Monday 10th June.

The outgoing postmaster had originally planned to retire, but a sudden and serious health diagnosis meant time became a far more pressing factor. Everyone involved pulled together to ensure the sale completed without delay – a special thank you goes to Adam Mayer of Nowell Meller, who personally drove to Leicester on the Sunday before completion to ensure there were no last-minute issues on the legal front.

This was a deal with urgency, but also compassion – and it’s a reminder that behind every transaction is a human story.
