It's been a busy time lately - lazy days in Crete, a family wedding and a trip to St Malo, plus an emergency operation. But now I'm back on board with work and in time to do June's blog on my website. Here on the Isle of Wight, June is the time of the Isle of Wight Festival. Of course, this is now a huge Festival but it's been around for many years, first starting in a small field near Ford Farm in August 1968 - I can see the field it was held in from where I live!

June is also the time of year when the Round The Island Race takes place, usually with nearly a 1,000 yachts taking part. This year the weather was brutal - but congratulations to those who made it around!

For me, June will be a time of catching up with people, ensuring my work with clients is fully back up to speed, and hopefully also finding time to enjoy some sunshine days on this beautiful Isle.
