Well… that escalated quickly. 🌧️😂

After what has been a long, hot and incredibly busy summer, with barely a drop of rain to be seen, the August Bank Holiday weekend certainly decided to remind us that we are in Cornwall!

The last few months have been huge for Raptor Response Security.

Events. Festivals. Venue work. Door teams. Long days. Long nights. Early starts. Late finishes. And plenty of miles covered across Cornwall.
And through all of it, our team has continued to turn up and deliver.

To every one of our operatives — thank you. 🖤💛

Thank you for the commitment, the professionalism and the sheer amount of hard work you've put in over the summer. RRS wouldn't be where it is without the people wearing that jacket.

And now, as meteorological autumn arrives, we're still out there — whatever the weather. 🌧️

The next big period is already on the horizon, with December, Christmas and New Year's Eve not too far away.

So to the team still working through the rain, the wind, the cold nights and everything else Cornwall decides to throw at us:

WHAT A WEEK FOR RRS. 🖤💛

I honestly cannot put into words just how proud I am of this team.

Over the past week, Raptor Response Security has had our security operatives deployed across multiple locations and events throughout Cornwall, with Door Supervisors out there representing RRS day after day.

Different venues. Different challenges. Different teams.
But one thing has stayed the same — everyone has pulled together.

When the pressure has been on, you’ve supported each other. When extra cover has been needed, you’ve stepped up. When things haven’t gone to plan, you’ve found a way to make it work.

That teamwork is exactly what I wanted RRS to be about.

I know the hours can be long, the weather can be brutal and the job isn't always easy. But seeing the way you guys have conducted yourselves, supported our clients and represented the RRS name makes all the hard work behind the scenes absolutely worthwhile.

A massive thank you to every single operative who has put on the uniform this week and gone out there to do the job properly.

You aren't just filling shifts — you are building this company.

Every deployment, every interaction and every shift is helping build the reputation of Raptor Response Security, and I couldn't be prouder of the team we are putting together.

As Raptor Response Security continues to grow, so does our team.

We're looking for professional, reliable Door Supervisors and Event Security Operatives to join us across Cornwall. If you're someone who turns up on time, takes pride in your work and wants to be part of a company that values professionalism and teamwork, we'd love to hear from you.

What we're looking for:

☑️ Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
☑️ Own transport
☑️ Reliable with a strong work ethic
☑️ Smart, professional appearance
☑️ Excellent communication skills
☑️ Available for evenings, weekends and events

We have a wide range of work available, including licensed venues, festivals, events and corporate assignments.

The things we do for work...

Last night definitely had its perks!

We were treated to one of the most incredible sunsets Cornwall could throw at us and to top it all off, we had the pleasure of a visit from my sister's gorgeous puppy, who was on site stealing everyone's attention.

Security work isn't always about dealing with incidents and long hours. Sometimes you get moments like these that remind you why we love what we do.

Another successful evening, an unforgettable sunset and a four-legged visitor who made the shift that little bit better. 🌊🧡🐾

A huge thank you to the entire Raptor Response Security team who worked throughout Delabole Carnival Week 2026.

From the first Sea Shanty night right through to the Grand Procession on the following Saturday, every one of you represented RRS with professionalism, commitment and pride.

Your hard work helped ensure another fantastic Carnival Week passed without incident, allowing everyone to enjoy the celebrations safely.

A special mention goes to yesterday's Grand Procession, which was bigger than ever before. With road closures, large crowds and a packed marquee to manage, the team worked brilliantly together to keep everything running smoothly. It was a credit to every single one of you.

Thank you also to the Delabole Carnival Committee, organisers, volunteers, Vic's Mobile Catering Van for keeping us fed and everyone involved in making the week such a success. We're proud to have played our part.

Here's to another successful event in the books. Onwards and upwards for Raptor Response Security.

What an incredible week it's been for the RRS team!

This week has seen our team deployed right across Cornwall, covering everything from licensed venues and busy nightlife to local events and the final stages of the World Cup. We've also kicked off our first full week-long event and every single member of the team has stepped up and delivered.

Working long hours in soaring temperatures isn't easy, but the professionalism, dedication and teamwork shown by every member of Raptor Response Security has been second to none. You have represented the RRS name with pride, keeping venues safe, supporting our clients and looking out for one another every step of the way.

To every member of the team – thank you. Your hard work, reliability and commitment don't go unnoticed. It's because of people like you that RRS continues to grow from strength to strength.

A huge thank you also goes to our fantastic clients for putting their trust in us. Your continued support means everything, and we're proud to be protecting your venues and events.
